Bolin, Class of 1889, Williams’ first Black graduate. The space came alive with student performances (including hip-hop dance group Nothing But Cuties, pictured here), speeches and a community drum circle. Art in Conversation A traveling exhibition exploring the 160th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation brings museum curator Maggie Adler ’99, MA’11 back to the Museum of Art.
